2025 Single Vineyard 'Alluvius' Semillon

The name ‘Alluvius’ derives from the well drained, ‘alluvial’ soils found in vineyards planted close to river beds. These soils are renowned for growing Semillon as it leads to a unique expression of what is considered to be Australia’s greatest white wine style.

Our 'Alluvius' Semillon is crafted from grapes sourced from a renowned Hunter vineyard of proven quality and pedigree.  The wine has a delicate pale colour with balanced acidity and fine texture and structure. The palate exhibits citrus characters of grapefruit and lime complemented by perfumed floral notes. The underlying minerality suggests that bottle maturation will produce rewards for many years.
