JIM CHATTO NEW CHAIRMAN OF JUDGES AT THE…HUNTER VALLEY WINE SHOW

Pepper Tree Wines is proud to announce, Chief Winemaker Jim Chatto, has been appointed as the new Chairman of judges at the Clear Image Hunter Valley Wine Show.

Jim takes over the reins of Chairman from industry legend, Iain Riggs after 8 years. Jim quotes:

“I am delighted to accept the role of Chairman of judges at the Hunter Valley Wine Show.
The Hunter Valley Wine Show is one of the cornerstones of our wine region, with a long history of setting quality benchmarks, whilst continually exploring the boundaries of style. Regional wine shows are at the heart of what makes Australian wine so unique. I am truly honoured to follow Iain Riggs, a great judge and true champion of our region. Iain has been an important mentor throughout my judging career, setting a very high standard in his 20+ years involvement in the show.

Jim draws from years of experience, being a wine judge at many National, City and Regional Shows. Well respected for his incredibly acute palate and winemaking skill by peers and industry associates - Jim heightens his career achievements by adding this great accomplishment to his portfolio.
