Winemakers, wine judges and special guests from all over the country gathered at Park Hyatt Melbourne for the 13th annual awards dinner held in conjunction with Wine Australia ans Skoda Superb.

The award judging is done by our panel who keeps an eagle eye on who's doing what in the winery & vineyard throughout the year - and the eight chosen are selected on the merit of what they have produced in the recent past.

The feast was peppered with awards presentations: first to our finalists Jim Chatto of Pepper Tree Wines, Tom Newton from Hardys, John & Belinda Thomson of Crawford River, Virginia Willcock from Vasse Felix, Adam Wadewitz & Viv Thomson from Best's Wines, Alex McKay from Collector & Tim Adams from his eponymous label, who all took home the gongs and Riedel glassware.

Congratulations Jim from all the Pepper Tree team.
