Single Vineyard

SINGLE VINEYARD RANGE

Our Single Vineyard Range uses premium fruit sourced from our vineyards in four prominent viticultural areas of Australia. These are examples of varieties that grow particularly well in different climatic conditions. This range identifies regional definition and nuances that are related to a particular variety within a particular region.

Alluvius Hunter Valley Semillon

Our Alluvius Semillon comes from the Braemore vineyard on Hermitage Road in the lower Hunter Valley. This famous vineyard, under the charge of Ken Bray, was planted in the late 60's and consistently produces benchmark Hunter Semillon. The well drained, 'alluvial' soils lead to a unique expression of what is considered to be Australia's greatest white wine style.

Coquun Hunter Valley Shiraz

The inspiration for the name 'Coquun' came from the Aboriginal Dreaming, when the Hunter River (Valley) was referred to as 'the Coquun' by its first inhabitants, the Wonnarua ('people of the hills and plains'). It is believed that the Wonnarua have occupied the Hunter for at least 30,000 years.

Calcare Cabernet Sauvignon is selected from the best rows of our small vineyard from the famous Coonawarra region.
