Brazilian Coffee Beans
Freshly hand roasted Brazilian beans from our own Contango Espresso - Roasters.
Contango Espresso Roasters embodies the 'handcraft' philosophy of the Pepper Tree Winery.
Based in the Hunter Valley, we have selected Single Origin coffee beans from around the world where we believe to be the best growing conditions such as Ethiopian, Guatemalan, and Brazil.
We roast in small batches to ensure we capture the best flavour profile to suit each style of bean we use and the unique characteristics of that coffee bean are expressed through the following recommended brewing methods:
- Milk based
Brazil is not only the world's largest coffee producer, it is also the most complex. It turns out everything from mass produced coffees to elegant coffees prized as the world's finest origins for espresso brewing.
The Alto Carmelo we use is a top quality Brazilian coffee grown in the Cerrado region. This particular Brazilian is dry processed which aids in the development of flavour.
The Alto Carmelo has light, sweet flavour characteristics with a nutty aroma and good crema production. Although it is great with all brewing methods it makes a wonderful sweet espresso.
